L-R: Rouge D'Armani lipstick in 401, YSL Rouge Volupte in Rose Paris, Illamasqua polish in Rare, Boscia blotting linens
Happy Monday! As promised, here are the makeup bits that I picked up on my trip to Las Vegas last week:
- Rouge D'Armani lipstick (401) - I've been into bright lipsticks lately. I don't really know why, but maybe it's because the weather has been so bleary that I'm eager to add some color to my life. This lipstick is an orange-based red that leaped out at me, and I fell in love with it. With a creamy, smooth application and long-lasting wear, this is already one of my favorites. (I couldn't find it on Sephora's website, but it's available there as well as in lots of department stores.)
- YSL Rouge Volupte lipstick (Rose Paris) - Speaking of bright lipsticks, I couldn't resist this particular one. I'll admit, part of the draw was the name, but it's such a fun pop of pink! I love YSL lipsticks because they smell/taste amazing, and last for hours. I highly recommend any of the lipsticks in this line.
- Illamasqua polish (Rare) - I must be going through a neon phase, because here's another BRIGHT treat that I picked up. I own two other Illamasqua polishes and I adore them, so I had to have another one. I currently have Rare on my nails, and it's just awesome. Opaque in two coats, and super duper colorful.
- Boscia Green Tea Blotting Linens - This was purely an impulse buy. I ran out of my Clean & Clear blotting sheets, so I decided to try these. So far, I really like them.
Have you bought anything cool lately? Please share in the comments!
