One of my favorite places to spend time in L.A. is Little Tokyo, which is only a short drive from where we live. Even though you're in the heart of downtown, it really feels like you've transported to another place. The atmosphere is so laid-back, and there are tons of restaurants, coffee shops and cute stores to explore.
Last night my husband and I had dinner at Daikokuya, a tiny, hole-in-the-wall ramen shop that serves delicious food (and usually has a line out the door to get in). Afterward we wandered around the outdoor plaza, and had dessert in the form of bacon donut holes, coffee and milk tea. Such a relaxing night, and just what I needed for a mini-recharge before the weekend.

Have a great weekend!
